We made it safely! After 30 hours of travel we made it to our hotel at 7am this morning. Took a nap & a shower & are now planning to spend this afternoon shopping for gifts for the orphans. Not much to report at this point but wanted to let everyone know we made it here! Pray for adjustment to local time & energy - right now we're pretty exhausted! More to come later...
YAY!!! So glad to hear from you!! I was laying awake in bed praying for you last night...maybe that's when you arrived!! Just checked in with mom, dad, and the kids today...Ellie was looking for Uncle Perry...what the?!?!...can't believe she came up with that on her own AND remembers it!...She's so silly. We are praying from OHIO!!!
ReplyDeleteOne side note...I prayed last night that God's word would come alive in your hearts and minds as you serve and live among the poor and needy. I know God always uses my time in other countries...where people are not as fortunate, to help me to see his scripture and the meaning behind it more clearly. Praying for fresh eyes as you dig into his word!! Love you both so much!
